In addition, on a windows Vista dual core computer, it can process 450K fcs 2.0 files/hr for 10k events with 5 parameters. For a windows xp single core, it can process 16,900 fcs 2.0 with 10K events and 5 paramters. For fcs 3.0 files, it can process 1,600 files/hour for fcs 3.0 with 10k events and 9 paramters, and for fcs 3.0 files it can process 25 files/hour for 1,000,000 events and 9 paramters. In conclusion, you increase your productivity by a factor of 3x, and have an estimated budget savings of 25% in the overall experimental setup, and over 90% in the analysis portion of the budget.
